Traveling Writer
Hello, Readers All,
A certain someone knows exactly where I was and what I was doing this weekend. Suffice to say, for the first time in longer than I can remember at the moment, we were not in New York City. After debriefing and processing, this trip will likely make it into some form of story. But not tonight.
After last week’s romp with the trolls of Newsbreak, I surprised myself (and maybe some of the trolls) with a piece on what we used to call Kent State Day. I also seem to have stirred the pot a bit with this one as well. At least the comments are mostly on topic and civil. 64 of them so far with an unprecedented 56 shares.

Of course we’ll forget. There are some very well situated people in this world who count on that. I don’t imagine Governor James Rhodes lost too much sleep after “he had vowed to “eradicate the problem” of campus demonstrations and declared that campus demonstrators were “the worst type of people that we harbor in America.”
Two years ago, this is what I was writing about. It seems appropriate to bring this one back for an encore performance.
