Stumbling Along

Hello, Readers All,

I'm stumbling here lately and your steady eyes and responses (and, yes, financial support) have been a huge boost. Thank you! While I bump into metaphorical walls and still manage to get some work done I'm now physically stumbling as well.

Torn plantar tendon. Back into the boot for a month with the hope that this will let the poor thing heal.

It might, it might not. But one thing is certain, I won't be marching for peace or anything else for some time to come. Dammit.

Opinion: Because Marching for Peace is Weird! | Remington Write | NewsBreak Original

Like I'm going to worry about being weird now. Back in February we got up at o'dark-thirty one morning and rode down to Washington, DC to participate in The Rage Against The War Machine anti-war rally. We realized we were going to be keeping strange company that day, but some people who weren't there made it out to be far stranger than it was.

While I clomp around in my boot (and stay home a LOT), my Committee is clearing its collective throat and getting ready for tonight's session. Good thing I have vast experience with these meetings.

Satire: Allow Me to Have a Word with Your Committee | Remington Write | NewsBreak Original

You can trust me. I'm a professional. How's your committee sounding these days? Still keeping you awake all night with the same old crap about money and your health and money and the job. Oh yeah. The job.

Bringing up this week's caboose is just another of my rants. A new rant, but still a rant about a topic near and dear to my heart. Consumerism. {ack; spit} Remember, however, if this "friend link" doesn't work, let me know. Hell will be raised.
