Some Habits, Ya Know?

It looks like about forty of you opened last week's email, so apparently you've got this habit down solidly. I know I do. Sunday night and it's time to get the newsletter out. Hope something here hits a spot or two.
In case you're living under a rock, allow me to disturb your peace of mind. But only for a minute or three.

Let's think this through before stocking the bunkers, hmmm?. And that’s just the start of it, I’m sure. For eight years (at least) things have been going from bad to worse in a number of places including Europe’s backyard: Ukraine.
Ok, I lied. Here's another couple of minutes of squirm-inducing work. Hey, I'm squirming, too, ya know.

But getting rid of my tiny portable AC isn't the answer. Wildfires consuming millions of acres, sending a pall of deadly particulate pollution over cities thousands of miles away. Thousands of gallons of filthy water cascading into the New York subway. Cities forced to build or upgrade industrial-strength pumps to empty the water from their streets. Triple-digit heatwaves punishing even places that generally never see anything north of 80 degrees. Record-breaking hurricanes sweeping across entire islands and ripping up the coast.
Moving on over to Substack, here's something cheering....for those of us who opted to not procreate, anyway. The rest of you will just have to age and die as mere mortals.
