According to the handy, dandy analytics on Buttondown, I see that all 40 newsletters were successfully delivered last week, 25 people actually opened the newsletter and three lovely readers actually clicked one of the stories. YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
Call me crazy, but I think we can get to four readers this week. I believe in you!
Catching up here, in three plus months of daily writing, publishing and promotional work I've managed to give myself a case of repetitive motion injury. Nice.

It's still January, so I'm continuing to get one fictional obituary out each day. Nope, they're not ever going to be (ahem) viral content and yet I get such a perverse little thrill in creating a fictional life and then snuffing it out. But let's remember that I'm the kid who used to spend weeks designing and building incredibly detailed dollhouses only to take them out back and set them on fire.
