No Heat, Heat, No Heat....And So On
Hello, Readers All,
Tonight the thermometer I bought today is telling us that it’s 82F here in the living room. That’s nice but we don’t expect that to last. At least not based on how the last two months have gone around here. It would be foolish to think the company that owns and / or manages this property has actually solved the problem with the ancient boilers in the basement.
This is by no stretch of the imagination anyone’s idea of a Dream Home.
Or…is it?

Dream Homes - Remington Write
We all dream of one but maybe...we're already in it?
Reaching back into the vault, I’d like to remind (mostly) myself of the incredible power and importance of paying attention.

Back to “Graceless” (bless her patient little heart), I just finished proofing the print copy I ordered three weeks ago and my partner in life and art, AleXander, kindly redesigned the cover:

Premium subscribers will be getting a free copy once I’m sure I’ve got it as close to perfect as possible. I know, I know. I’ve been promising the arrival of this slender little book for a very long time. She’s about to launch.
Show of hands: Who thinks having a book launch down at Village Works on St. Marks Place is something I should endeavor to make happen?

And there we are, another week with a pinch of new work and the heat’s on in our apartment. We’ll muddle through this winter somehow. The rest of the year?
We’ll jump off that bridge when we get to it.
Keep in mind that any stray bits of inspiration as well as all solidly planted elm trees are welcome at: Remington.write@gmail.com
Now to see if I can come up with something interesting for next week! (A thousand thank you’s)
