No exodus so, hmmm, we'll see

Hello, Readers All,

So after my floating the mad notion of a Patreon account last week not only did no one unsubscribe (yet), but one person actually emailed to say they’d definitely contribute if I did. This bears investigation.

But more important than that is the actual writing even if it’s still more depressing stuff. Wallow with me, k?

Because clearly, the present isn’t enough of a nightmare

But then we all have to find ways to cheer ourselves up. I do this.

Filling my home with thrown-away beauty

I’ve begun a mad new venture: another daily writing project. This time, however, there is no theme, no through-line and no general organizing principle. I just have to write something and publish it before midnight every day in April. Easy peasy!

Watch Where You Step — Part One

There we are, readers. Another week’s work and, yes, you see right. That hat’s by the door. Special thanks to those dropping coins in last week. MOST deeply appreciated!

Much as I’d love to sit here and chat, I need to get tomorrow’s story set up and ready so I can get right on it in the morning.

See what you think next week when you read it.

In the meantime, you are welcome to toss threadbare get-rich schemes and moldy socks my way at: Remington.Write@gmail.com

I remain in awe that of the 83 subscribers, 26 of you actually opened the email last week and 23 of you clicked on something. I am on FIRE!!!

Until next week, many thanks. RW
