My Inner Capitalist
Hello, Readers All,
It's that time of year! What time is that? The time when I resolutely shove the refrigerator against the door and slam the windows closed lest any tinsel and mistletoe manage to slip past my defenses.
I've managed to successfully ignore the Tidings of Great Joy for nearly three decades.

This year I find myself in the decidedly awkward position of having a book to sell and the timing couldn't be worse. Clearly, I didn't think this thing through when I began pulling these essays written during the pandemic into first an e-book and now a paperback book.
So, here's the dirt on my first stab at being a paperback writer. While you can order your e-book online at any number of online book sellers (except for Amazon with whom I refuse to do business) for a buck, ninety nine, it appears that the actual physical book can only be ordered from any bookstore if I go and beg them to order it.
Or, you can order it directly from the author. I can order copies and am happy to mail you a copy for the special direct-from-the-author price of $10 plus shipping.

In other news, The Big Re-write on "Graceless" has begun and I must say that the input from my editor is proving extraordinarily helpful. I plant my butt in the chair every morning after doing my now-necessary PT stretches and before doing anything else and I write for about an hour to an hour and a half.
So, my underdeveloped inner capitalist is hoping you'll like my work enough to want to buy the book. And my overdeveloped sense of irony is laughing hysterically that I'm hawking my first book at Christmastime.
While I'm sure the hat is still around here somewhere, I think I've asked for money enough in one little now-unreliably appearing newsletter!
For the hundred of you still around, I say a heart felt thank you. (And a special thank you to my partner in life and art, AleXander for the photography used in this newsletter and for the cover of the book itself!)
And, yes, any stray flights of fancy or scurrilous rumors are still welcome at: Remington.write@gmail.com (where, of course, you can send your mailing address in case you wanna buy the book).
To bed, my pretties, the better to get up and get back to work on "Graceless".
