More subscribers, more fun!
Hello, Readers All,
When you look in the Urban Dictionary under the heading of Slow But Steady you will find my photo and it's not my most flattering.
This is my 18th weekly newsletter and I'm happy to note that we're up to 51 subscribers. That's not so impressive in a world that needs something that goes viral to get noticed. Good thing viral isn't on my to-do list!
That said, I wouldn't be averse to any of my work getting a strong response. To that end, I'm also not averse to tossing out the odd semi-clickbait headline. Although in this case, the gun in the first act really DOES go off in the third:

Let's be clear, if I'd stayed in Ohio I'd have a lot less to write about. After nearly 20 years in New York City, I'm no longer one of those people who goes around saying it's The Greatest City in the World (not by a long shot), but the fact is that there is a LOT going on in this city that lends itself to story-telling.
