Let the Pile-On Commence
Hello, Readers All, I finally did it. I published a story on Newsbreak that has all the fellas lining up with rotten tomatoes and mean comments. That took long enough! I've been hearing about online nastiness for decades but I think the gang over at Medium and even on Vocal are what we'd call housebroken.
Not so at Newsbreak. The sad irony is that the piece the boys are so livid about is actually sympathetic to their plight. 14 comments so far and every one of them just proves my point. Keep 'em coming, you bad boys.

How our patriarchal system harms the very men who support it. Men, we need to talk (again, apparently). It’s getting clearer by the day that you don’t seem to realize the predicament you’ve been put in by The Patriarchy. Every time another man picks up another gun and goes on a rampage the rest of us see how badly damaged you are by this system of dominance and submission. See, once you strip away all the pretenses of what’s going on and who’s in power, what we have here is a system that pretends to reward a certain population while strictly limiting that populations' connection to the rest of humanity.
Conversely, interesting and unusual photos taken around the city don't really gain traction. Still, the three comments are appreciated and I have fun with these pieces. And since I'm obviously not in this for the money, I gotta be in it for the fun.
