It's..........Wednesday!
Hello Readers,
I’m sending out the newsletter on the usual day with the usual links to some new and some older work even though to most people receiving it, this clearly is not just Wednesday, and as such I don’t expect to get a lot of traction. But that’s ok because my traction to date has been of the slow and steady variety.
And I’m nothing if not consistent. It’s Wednesday. Here’s the newsletter. ;)
Let’s start with my take on Wednesday, well this Wednesday:

Slouching Away From Bethlehem*. For those of us not interested in Being… | by Remington Write | Plan-B Vibe | Medium
For those of us not interested in Being Of Good Cheer
Aside from my Bah-ing and Humbug-ing, here’s the rundown of my move from Cleveland to New York City in 2000. It seemed like an auspicious way to start the millennium.

19 Years Ago Today. What nearly 19 years in New York City… | by Remington Write | The Partnered Pen | Medium
What nearly 19 years in New York City looks like
I’ve gotten swept up in the Medium storm and haven’t written much new fiction in over a year so I’m going to start including my already-published fiction in the newsletter. Writing fiction is hard and takes time while ideas bubble constantly for personal essays and philosophical ponderings. Then, worse, there’s little to no readership for short stories while my essays do pretty well. Not that I’m going to stop publishing my short fiction or posting here, there and everywhere but for now I’m not going to put heavy work into writing that goes into the abyss unread.
Here’s one writer’s solution to this dilemma:

Fallen Apple. Being the daughter of a famous suicide… | by Remington Write | Literally Literary | Medium
Being the daughter of a famous suicide is a valid career path. One bullet and no door has ever been closed to me.
And finally my partner, AleXander’s, addition to the celebration of Wednesday. Hark!

Hark, A Holiday Miracle. Accompanied By A Festive Soundtrack | by aleXander hirka | Medium
Accompanied By A Festive Soundtrack
I hope you enjoy the work and, again, thank you for subscribing to my experiment. So far, so good.
