It's definitely a rice pudding kinda night

Hey there, Readers All,

First and best: Big rounds of applause and general all-around YOU-ARE-THE-BESTs for twenty-three of you who opened and read some of our stories this past week. Boy, did I need that pick me up tonight.

Short version: I tripped on a raised bit of sidewalk in the Village this evening and went face-first into the pavement. Scary and painful and, yes, embarrassing. To their credit, at least two passers-by asked if I was OK.

Fortunately, I was with AleXander who was my angel. He gently waited until I felt like I could move and then helped me up little by little.

I am OK. Bruised, scraped, and shook up a bit....but, yes, OK.

(And you know I'll be writing about this so you'll get the long version next week)

But this week, let's see what my man and I have been up to, K? K!

I'm hoping to get back to this frame of mind toot sweet.

Not sure why but I’ll take it

But reality makes that a tricky proposition these days.

People are getting very VERY threadbare

There's reality and then there's OUR reality.

Time to step into them

And when I've had all I can take of reality, it's time for fiction.

Close the windows and stay put

My partner in life and art, AleXander, would like to remind dog owners where they can and cannot take Poopsie-pie and Little Fritz.

The Arrogance and Privilege of The Leash-Holder — Part 3 of 3

There we are, Readers All, another week of new writing and I still have my front teeth (that was not a given in the first few minutes after I hit the sidewalk)!

Hat's by the door and all loose change, bitcoin, and wadded-up twenties are most appreciated!
