This business of shoving my fingers into my ears and loudly chanting LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA isn't working as well as it used to. Along with that, I'm finding myself writing more and more about the rising tide of sickness and damage we're increasingly surrounded by. Not to harsh anyone's mellow or anything, but if you're skipping along with a song in your heart (and I recommend you hang onto that as long as possible), you've clearly not been outdoors lately and are wisely not watching the news.
Fair warning: I have not been writing - or thinking - happy happy this week.
