Here we are.........still

Readers All, Hello!

Look! Here you are still at home and so are we. Go figure. The 800 pound gorilla in all writers’ psyches refuses to budge so I guess, sure, I’ll write some more about our virus.

While some have fled the city, I’m of the opinion that there’s really not anyplace this virus won’t be showing its sneaky little face and the idea of sheltering in place in someone else’s place? No thanks. Besides, we may as well get used to this drill (and maybe be a little more ready next time?).

And other epiphanies from social isolation

And speaking of being ignored.........after several weeks of the cold shoulder from Medium’s editors, I wrote two pieces this week that got loads of curation love which may or may not translate into actual readers, but it was a nice bit of stroking which I appreciated.

This one got a triple curation in the topics of Culture, Film, and TV:

The Night They Turned Harlem into San Francisco | by Remington Write | The Partnered Pen | Medium

Movie magic did its thing in New York City…again

And this one got my first quadruple curation and those were in Society, Relationships, Self and Equality. So we shall see.

The real divide in our country and world

But back to our gorilla whose feelings we do not want to hurt. In fact, this really beautiful short story by AleXander will be enough to make even a gorilla and maybe a virus tear up a little. It was a two-Kleenexer for me!

A Love Letter from Intensive Care

From our cave to yours, keep washing your hands and take as many naps as you want. This will be over and then we’ll all have to go back to being responsible adults.
