Friend links and other mysteries

Hello, Readers All,

Since no one tugged my sleeve about any friend links not working I'll stop worrying my pretty little head about it. Easy peasy. Especially since there is no shortage of other things to fuss about. Before anyone panics, however, see that over there, semi-hidden behind the curtain. My soapbox. It's going to stay over there because I simply don't have the energy to work up any good outrage (see what working for a living has done to me?).

So, yes, I'll be up early tomorrow to get right to the work that pays the bills.

But tonight, my readers, my friends, we have candy!

And what's even better than candy?

We think we know who’s running this city. We’re wrong.

What's definitely NOT candy?

I'm finding Substack to be a great new home for my fiction and here we drop the candy and move instead to The Creation of Everything.

You may well ask why I continue to point out the hat by the door now that I've rejoined the ranks of the working stiffs. Without going into vulgar detail, suffice to say this is a part-time job. So, yes, the hat stays as does my deep gratitude for the generosity of the finest damned bunch of readers ever. You.

As ever, this is the time to consider providing me with wishy-washy compliments or hardcore provocations. Your choice. I'll take whatever ya got. Send it to: Remington.write@gmail.com

And thank you. It's mind-blowing that you're still here and I hope I manage to make it worth your while every so often.

Until next week,

RW
