First in Weeks, Last in Year

Hello, Readers All,

Insert gratuitous year-end sentiment here and accept my sincere hopes that you have sailed through the various treacheries and treasures of the holiday season with all faculties intact and a pinch of humor along the rim.

Remember when every Sunday evening would bring another batch of new stories and essays from me? Yeah, well, not sure when I'll be providing that level of entertainment again. If ever. Still there's roughly a hundred of you hanging in there and to you I bow in humble gratitude. I hope you don't lose faith in my work.

Speaking of...

And moving on to new news: The books have arrived, the envelopes have been purchased and about a dozen copies will be going out in the coming week.

For anyone who would like a (signed) copy from the first printing of fifty copies, you can email me at: Remington.write@gmail.com

$10 and a grin will get a copy mailed directly to the address you prefer.

And if you're in New York City, you might stop by Bluestockings Bookstore down on Rivington Street in the coming weeks and ask for a copy.

Meanwhile, AleXander, my partner in life and art has been very busy with various year-end tasks, not least of which has been updating our movie list. If you are at all adventurous when it comes to cinema, you'll find some real gems here.

The Anomalous Duo At The Movies • Buttondown

First . . . A big welcome to the bunch of friends who recently signed up for this little newsletter.I'll keep it flowing, about every week+ — with links to...

And for those breathlessly awaiting the arrival of "Graceless", here's that update: Starting on the first of December, I've done a full rewrite incorporating the recommendations and suggestions of my beta readers (you know who you are) and my editor. Then my partner's muses made an interesting suggestion which I am also incorporating into a type of a prologue for the novel.

I've been down with that rotten cold that's been making the rounds here in New York and so haven't been toiling away at the writing every morning as I was doing so very faithfully during the first three weeks of December.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be back at it, however.

Another project has me compiling more fiction and essays into books now that I know how easy it is to do. And if you're of a mind to create a book, try this link at Draft2Digital.

And as we close out another spin around Sol, let's squinch our eyes shut and beg the gods for some peace. Not expecting it, but begging nevertheless.

As my various projects get legs under them, I'll bring them for your review in future Sunday missives. Until then, all troubled harbingers as well as any serene troubadours are welcome at: Remington.write@gmail.com

(but you knew that)

Thank you!!! RW
