Dropping balls that don't matter anyway
Hello, Readers All,
When I started this newsletter some thirty weeks ago it just happened that the first one went out late on a Tuesday night. Since then, with a few hiccups from time to time, I've adhered to that schedule. Last night in bed at 3 am (our usual pandemic bedtime) I realized I'd forgotten to get this newsletter out. No I did not vault out of bed to do so.
Then this morning we were determined to get our backsides out of the apartment on another gloriously beautiful morning and not get stuck on the computers until it was time to eat something and then have our (now usual) pandemic nap at which point the day is shot. This we did. What I did not do was get this newsletter put together and out.
It is now Wednesday night. Has anything in the fabric of the cosmos been disturbed in any measurable way because I didn't get this out last night? You tell me.
In keeping with our current Topic That's Not Going Away:

Duck and Cover for our New Normal | by Remington Write | Plan-B Vibe | Medium
I said it when I was eight and I still mean it
And here was a bit of unwelcome excitement in our week:

How We Threw Away $2400. Because the IRS is run by morons | by Remington Write | Plan-B Vibe | Medium
Because the IRS is run by morons
More excitement that we could have done without but which is kind of necessary right now. I just need to not be in the middle of it, thanks, but do keep it up, young people! Don't let the cops with their tear gas or the pearl-clutchers with their fainting fits about people looting or any naysayers slow you down.

Getting a Little too Close to the Fire | by Remington Write | The Partnered Pen | Medium
When the old folks nearly got swept into the riot
As to my fiction, let's go here this week:

And AleXander's newest piece of fiction:

Nautical Metaphors, Bobbing Amidst a Pandemic
Will I manage to get back on track next week? Does it matter? Time will tell.
In the meantime, I humbly bow in your direction for having the generosity to have subscribed and even opened this email. Again this week I'm aiming to entertain and create something for readers to grin about.
All compliments and dire warnings are welcome at: Remington.Write@gmail.com
Until next week, keep trudging.
