Can I Even Still Do This?

Hello again, Readers All,

Ok, ok. Yes, I suppose we all know the answer to that question. Of course, I can still write even if I haven’t done much lately. How long it will take me to get back to some of the more substantial pieces I’ve begun and stalled out on and then picked back up and dropped again….well, that’s in the hands of the gods.

But for now, I dip my hands into the well from time to time. Still agonizing about the same old crap: patriarchy, capitalism, alienation, isolation, anxiety, and why the new $160 million dollar swimming pool by the Harlem Meer is only 3’8” deep at its deepest. You know. The Big Questions.

They say this new pool can accommodate 1000 swimmers. We’ll see.

While my partner in life and art has been quietly working on a big project he (like me) hasn’t been doing much writing. He has, however, been sending me a steady stream of interesting photos.

Lady bug, lady bug, fly away home…

His guerilla morning glory plantings are taking off and providing lady bugs with safe places to hang out.

I don’t know as anyone would be missing the old weekly newsletters or if this monthly missive is an easier thing to take in, but the hat remains by the door with my humble appreciation embroidered on the brim.
