Blatant Solicitation

Hello, Readers All,

Let’s put this right up front: I am without shame. With that said, I’m reaching out to anyone who has read “Graceless” and asking for your honest opinion of the book. It gets worse. I am asking for reviews of it as well.

If you hated it, well, you can skip the review bit but I do really want to know what you thought of the book. Give it to me straight.

Now Grace has been out there in the big world for several months now and the feedback I’ve gotten so far has been enough to turn a writer’s head.

For example:

First review of “Graceless” to appear on Barnes & Noble website

If you’re interest is at all piqued, do consider going over to the Barnes & Noble site and ordering your copy. Then tell me what you think!

With that out of the way, I can admit to having been noodling around with several short story ideas and have a few new things online as well.

(And, yes, to all intents and purposes I am still unemployed but that may be about to change as a certain quarterly peer reviewed magazine is rumored to be drawing up a contract for me to come on as the editorial assistant)

At any rate, there’s this:

And then over on Substack, there’s this:

The Myth of Bodily Autonomy in the United States of America

Or: How Much Freedom Can You Afford?

It’s been a bit of a fallow season for The Anomalous Duo, but there’s no lack of work stored in our respective attics. Here’s a gem from my partner in life and art:

To my premium subscribers I send out a heartfelt thank you as well as my hopes that you don’t feel as if the invaluable support you provide is being frittered away on trifles. After all, your support helps pay our rent so we can keep writing indoors!

Speaking of, here’s the hat by the door with more thank you notes pinned to the brim:

That’s what I got for now. Please don’t hesitate to send all consummately crafted innuendos as well as any sloppy seconds to me at: Remington.write@gmail.com

Until next time…
