Back to the Grind?
Hello, Readers All,
The hot topic this week is that I interviewed for a part-time, temporary position as Editorial Assistant at another company that publishes scientific / medical research journals. And…I got a second interview.
A mere month of writing and I may be ditching it all for another little chunk of time to bring in the almighty dollar.

Who knows what will happen?
But while I have the gift of time, I’ll keep writing. I’m 16 pages into the new work and just finished the first chapter by surprising myself with an unplanned plot twist (totally the fun part of writing!).
And, as promised, here is the rundown of our expedition last weekend to see A Rock in A Field.

And coming down with Covid for the third time. Life is a gas.
From what is essentially a couple of journal pages (with corrected spelling and nice photos) to another of my favorite tirades:

Not a good look, I gotta tell you
My shadow ban on Newsbreak continues and I can only shrug. I’m not particularly comfortable writing to enrage and engage, so now that those are pulled out of the equation, I’ll continue my wicked ways sans the nasty comments.
Opinion: Student Loan Forgiveness?
We believe what we want to believe. And even though I have no illusions about the Biden Administration’s integrity, I fell for it. Did you? A lot of us did. Twenty-six million of us to be exact and according to the Department of Education sixteen million applications have been approved and those loans will be “discharged when allowed by the courts”.
You may (or may not) have noticed that most of the country around us is pulling its collective hair out as we finally wind down to this inane election. I’m delighted to share my partner in life and art’s insightful commentary on the insanity.

Getting it Up For A Limping Democracy
Should I wind up gainfully employed once more, this weekly song and dance as well as the tastefully placed hat will go back on hiatus. Until then, however, spare coinage tossed into it is humbly appreciated.

I do love hearing from you!
