First a huge thank you for subscribing to Remington Write, my weekly newsletter. We’re up to 27 “real” subscribers and one bot who got shown the door.
Until the past year when I began publishing my writing on Medium I had no evidence to support the idea that anyone wanted to read what I wrote.

And speaking of wow, I went for a second-round interview for a new 9 to 5 job which would be (wait for it) a writing job! I’ve done my time in Independent Contractor Purgatory.

Recently one of my long-time readers, friends, and supporters has asked me to set up a paid subscription option for this newsletter so they can be “assured of getting the newest and most interesting content on a regular basis”.
Then another friend also asked to be able to subscribe on a paid basis.
What do you think?
Would you be up for paying $5 a month for this newsletter? To be clear I’m going to continue writing the newsletter and you’ll continue receiving it weekly regardless of whether you’re interested in or even able to contribute money or not.
That said, I am going forward with some kind payment structure because I know a number of my readers would be interested in supporting me this way but before I take that step I wanted to check in and see what you think. You can email me directly at:
