I got this text from my director this Wednesday:

What does this mean? Well, it means we are DONE EDITING VIDHYA’S GUIDE TO THE AFTERLIFE, MY FIRST EVER FEATURE!!!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!

This is so freaking exciting. The story is there, the jokes are there… now all that’s left is:

• music (we have an amazing music supervisor on board who is helping us get some PRETTY COOL SONGS)

• score (our composers are unreal)

• sound design/mix (for a Rapture? uhhh YEAH we’re pumped)

• color (it’s gonna look gooood)

And then onto… festivals? Screening in theaters near you? Who’s to say?! But the biggest post-production task of all — the edit — is done, and we are over the moon. Huge thanks to our editing team: Siddarth Lal, Varun Viswanath, and Anushri Iyer for knocking this thing outta the park.

Thank you all for being with us on this journey. We can’t wait to show you this thing.
