stuck
I recently did a couple auditions that I thought were good, but unfortunately, even if they were PERFECT (which they probably were????), you don’t control what’s going on on the other side. And it makes you feel stuck.
Growing up, I thought “more hard work” equaled “more better results,” and that simply isn’t true. So I am left to just generate my own ways to work and enjoy life. Lately that has meant performing more live shows.
Live shows are something that the industry can’t take away from me. There’s something still experimental and electric in doing and attending something live. (Did everyone see Naked Gun yet? Please do.) So even while the industry is moving at a glacial pace, I can guest on a friend’s show or host a show to try something out on my own terms.
And that’s why I’m so excited to host my upcoming gameshow, Wordplay! I have always been MEDICALLY annoying about Taboo, Charades, Scattergories, Scrabble... basically anything involving words or shouting a word. And this is my chance to show you that love, combined with a healthy dose of stupid games.
