On our perfection
"I’m proposing the possibility that you’re perfect as you are," writes Tuulia Syvänen.
She said something similar during our 1:1 Skype session.
I remember holding this up to the light, thinking huh, yeh. Maybe. And feeling peace wash over me.
The concept isn't from religion or relentless self-love; more, radical self-acceptance. Ownership.
So: what if? I imagine that I'm totally acceptable, just as I am. This newsletter is haphazard; cool. I sometimes feel difficult emotions; fair enough. My actions have faults; of course. But me, as a person? You, as a person? Maybe we're perfect.
