On time feeling right
How old are you – in your head?
I get lost in time easily. Recalling the day, month, sometimes year takes a moment: perhaps because my work involves planning quarters ahead or scheduling weeks in advance; maybe because I sometimes live in the 'wrong' season i.e. 30°C November.
But when, on my birthday, someone asked how old I was turning, my answer felt right. I don't feel 17 anymore (I did for years). I don't feel 23, the age I was for one of those life-changing events. This is a nice read on subjective age.
