Okay, remember when I said each one of these would be a sort of ministry? Well, I know there are people that don’t know me from Adam so here, I introduce myself so you don’t get the idea that you’re reading up on myth or legend.

Facts: Ordained Minister. Doctorate in Divinity. Love tea. Earl Grey, English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast and I usually have that in the morning before slinging on the pack and rucking it to work. If it’s a day off then it’s studies, application, theory, practice, lunch, writing it all down, transcribing it, sitting with it and sometimes in the middle of it all going “…the hell am I doing?”

This is the deal. You’re dealing with a guy who has a regular job that he has to clock in and out of. Even though life is pretty damn magickal to me right now, there were times where it wasn’t. There were times of complete programming cascade failure.

Let me kind of explain this. Short version.

We have a Source to whom to return eventually and we should be fully-integrated in terms of our psyche so that we can produce results consistently, whatever your purpose is. Realize that.

That same Source put its own Indwelling Spirit into you. It speaks to you and then, we are told that that same Source sent an aspect to tell you that the gifts and talents with which you were born and are inherent within you…it’s wrong. You are being decieved, or so it claims.

Upon receipt of a “Cool story, bro.” the dogma became violent.

Here’s the big unveiling, Rome could not stand as an empire with direct control so they made a pivot and lasted so much longer. That should tell you why that happened and it’s not vague conspiracy theory. What it is is a telling portrait of crushing people in a dragnet for only one reason, power.

If you have people with direct connections to the worlds beyond, the ability to directly communicate with aspects of that Source, you don’t need the priest, do you? If you don’t have that direct connection, you probably knew a guy.

It’s simple tactics that are still being used to this day: Eliminate The Competition.

It was politics…ruining things…again. The rest, as you know, is history.

It’s one of those little programming loops that comes up every once in awhile. I don’t really feel any kind of way about it. I just think about it because think of what that tells you.

It tells you how truly powerful you are.

The thing that most won’t tell you because it doesn’t sell books or subscriptions is that you don’t need a guru, a minister, a Rev. Dr. Anyone. All you actually need is a willingness, a drive, a desire, a curiosity and the will to dedicate yourself to the work and your first bit of work, it needs to be you.

I’m not saying that as a criticism, just someone who’s been there. The sooner you do it, the better. When you show up honestly to your own thoughts first. When you can achieve some state of inner quiet, that’s the place where your real, tangible power comes from.

You don’t have to tell me a damned thing, either! That’s the most fun part.

I also want you to ask questions.

No, I’m serious, if it will aid in your work in a way that helps you completely and honestly changing your situation for the better, then ask that question.

This is a church that doesn’t hide behind the unexplained.

This church embraces it. We love the unknown. We love interacting with it. We love that it’s beyond our abilities to explain other than just fuckin’ poorly sometimes.

But here’s the thing, why do we just embrace the unknown?

Well, admittedly that’s a bit of a self-insert. Let me show you what my birth chart says about me, spiritually-speaking…

It’s pretty clear that I’ll choose exploration over acceptance but I can accept certain things and only after I’ve tested them, myself. Check this out. Bryan over at the Fixed Air Moon channel on YouTube did this chart for me and here are a few of the things it said to me directly, and I quote:

• I’ll see what others don’t (Moon 12th House)

• I’ll be drawn to the occult (Uranus in Scorpio)

• I’ll fight an internal war (Mars in Scorpio)

• I’ll reject traditional religion (Chiron in 9th House)

• I’ll serve others through your own identity (North Node in 1st House)

To sum all of this up, and this is where I show that this is the biggest foundational fissure in traditional dogma.

Let’s call this Source by the name of God for the time being.

Let’s also assume God doesn’t make mistakes.

Let’s also assume that God has created everything and that everything has a purpose and serves that purpose.

Okay, our planets and stars in the sky have been scientifically to affect everything on this planet. To cite one example, our sun is changing. That creates changes in our magnetosphere that affect, you guessed it…living creatures. Birds, to be exact. Their flight patterns are affected by those very same forces and that is only one star among many. Just because the weather tomorrow won’t be happening for many, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen for others.

These very same stars and “Heavenly Bodies” affect us as well, to the point where we even have certain traits encoded into us from our birth.

My chart says I was born with clairvoyant and telepathic abilities. It says I'd be fascinated by the occult. It says my greatest battle would be internal. It says I'd reject traditional religion and find my own path. These aren't predictions I chose to fulfill, depending on who you ask (we’ll get into soul contracts/agreements later on down the line) these are coordinates into which, I was born. The planets were in these positions before I drew my first breath.

So the biggest crack is did God make a mistake or do we acknowledge that the mistake was assuming that many of us would fall for a bastardized version of Divinity tooled for turning the world into an open-air prison with those guarding and running it all self-appointed without credential?

That’s not a question you have to answer, it’s one I think over from time to time and the reconciliation comes in the fact that I know myself and any creator that would create that only to dispose of it really wasted its time and is probably more disappointed with itself. I get that. I’ve been there.

You will not get that here. This church isn’t about control, it’s about empowering you so that you can empower the next people and carry it forward and that’s really the aim. I’m not here to sell you anything.

Okay I did kinda mull over the idea of Magnusson Speaks merch like a zazzle store or Cafepress or something like that because I have a growing library that still needs some books and they cost…especially if the things are out of print. I’d turn on paid subscriptions but I’d need a hell of a lot more feedback from you. What would you find valuable enough in terms of words from me that would make you help fund a physical library that can’t be altered without someone kicking down my door which would be extremely ill-advised to anyone.

To be transparent, I am not above shopping on AbeBooks. You wouldn’t believe the books I snatched up on the cheap there and they just started landing. I’m gonna need to store my tarot decks somewhere else because I need that bottom shelf in a big, bad way…

More books are on the way and shelf space is at a premium and yeah, there are still more books that I’m going to consult and having physical copies means that I can annotate, highlight, tab and all that good stuff for reference later. With an eBook? Not so much. These books are a lot like tech manuals and the best part of all of this? Now the money thing…that’s something that can get figured out but I’d rather it be an option instead of an obligation because this church doesn’t have them. You do.

Your obligation first is to see to you and your family and then to everyone else but position yourself strongest before you can begin to help others so that they can carry it forward or, just come to the article, download a PDF of it, slap it to your phone and read it on the can, it’s fine.

In any case, I’m not coming to you with a list of Thou Shalts and Thou Shalt Nots because that’s not me. I’m here to open the door for you and say come on in.

Whatever you look like, whomever you sleep with, however you vote, whatever your conditions are, I don’t care because it’s none of my fuckin’ business! I care about the work more than anything else and if you do too, then you’re the type of person I want to show the one immutable truth that no political power can take from you.

The real, actual, tangible, physical power is right there inside you. You just need to figure out how to tap into it and use it and when to use it but most importantly, when not to. The rules to using it aren’t just arbitrary, they’re there to contain the rot that happens when people who aren’t in control of themselves find a way to hack into those spiritual components and then wield them like a war hammer without knowing full well what the capabilities are. I tell you that because that was almost me. In some cases, it was and that couldn’t remain.

Now, things are different. Is that good or bad? I don’t know but I’ll never bullshit you on that. I’ll never just throw up some tome and tell you that it’s a mystery and we just have to accept it.

Instead, I’ll tell you that we can explore that together, because we can.

As your spiritual advisor, I advise you all to look around and see people, realize you are all fuckin' weirdos but you're my fuckin' weirdos and I love you for that...all of you...no exceptions. Now, let's get to work.
