A Writing Diary
It is 4 am because being ill has eaten my sleep-cycle. So, what better a time to write something for Snippets; my beloved and only irregularly updated newsletter.
I've been thinking about how I could use this space for some more regular writing that also didn't become a chore. And I think I've found it. I'm going to post updates on my writing projects and on the process of writing itself. I have quite a few projects on the go because points to zero-attention-span brain. I have a half finished novel currently sitting at 50,000 words which I haven't been able to work on for actual years now. I am working on a second short story collection. And I'm working on a poetry pamphlet. Not to mention the projects I have that are purely academic (a book, two proposals, and various papers)!
So, I'm going to try to update this space regularly with my thoughts on writing/ day-in-the-life type posts on how I'm tackling the various projects.
