🏳️🌈⚖️ On Monday, a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction to block the federal government from pulling funding from a number of LGBTQ+ health and resource organizations based on President Trump’s anti-DEI and “gender ideology” executive orders. The ruling applies only to the plaintiffs involved in the suit.

🏳️⚧️📉 Polling released Tuesday found that 66% of Americans believe trans people should be required to use their assigned sex at birth on government documents, and 69% support restricting trans athletes to teams of their assigned sex at birth, a 7% increase from 2021. The percentage of Americans who believe changing genders is “morally acceptable” has also decreased 6% from 2021.

🏳️⚧️📊 On Wednesday, results from the 2022 U.S. Transgender Survey were released, revealing that 98% of respondents receiving gender-affirming hormone therapy or surgery were “more satisfied” with their lives.

🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️✊🏿🏫🏛️ Under a K-12 budget bill passed in the Michigan House of Representatives by Republicans on Wednesday, schools would face a 20% funding penalty if they allow trans girls to play sports on girls' teams, have multi-stall unisex bathrooms, use state funding for DEI initiatives, or include "implicit race and gender stereotyping" in curriculum.
