🏳️🌈📚 On Wednesday, it was reported that administrators at Otsego Public Schools, a district 30 minutes north of Kalamazoo, Michigan, removed a children’s book containing gay characters from the kindergarten curriculum in early fall.

The Southwest Michigan school district also decided against adding two books about Islam to first grade reading materials, citing district guidelines for "developmentally appropriate" content.
