🏳️⚧️📊 According to a report released on Wednesday, there are over 2.1 million trans adults in the U.S., with around 78,000 in Michigan (1% of adults in the state), and around 725,000 trans 13-17-year-olds in the U.S., with around 22,000 in Michigan (3.5% of those aged 13-17 in the state).

🏳️⚧️⚕️🏛️ On August 15, the Trump Administration released a memo stating that in 2026, health plans for federal employees will no longer cover gender-affirming care for trans adults or minors. They will however, cover "faith-based counseling," also known as conversion therapy, a form of anti-LGBTQ+ torture.
