Der Stanzer was about imperfection versus perfection. And of course, the imperfection turned out to be way more intriguing. I mean, would you ever expect to find an unexpected bowl of soup in a bottomless box of artistic experience? Of course not, an unexpected bowl of soup will always be unexpected.
