We stand in solidarity with Petaluma City Schools

To Our Community,
We are deeply upset by the recent threats to our local school district. Pride month exists as a direct response to decades of marginalization, discrimination, and oppression. It’s not just about celebrating identity but also asserting visibility and rights in the face of a long history of exclusion. We want to sincerely thank the Petaluma City Schools district for continuing to raise the pride flag and recognize “Harvey Milk Day and Pride month” every year.
We stand with our LGBTQ+ community and anyone feeling upset or alarmed by this and all threats of violence. Our community is strong and resilient. Together we will continue to advocate for safety, inclusion, and respect. Every individual should feel valued, protected, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
In Community & Solidarity,
