Cub Football - Spring practice commences - More Cub scholarship offers
LOYOLA SPRING PRACTICE UNDERWAY
Loyola took the field on April 29 to commence spring practice. With the move up to the rugged Mission League, the Cubs have their work cut out for them heading into the 2024 campaign.
Thirteen players with starting experience, including several All-League and All-State underclassmen, and one with All-American accolades, return.
The hope is that the large contingent of experienced athletes will allow Loyola to be a factor in its new league, which is generally considered to be one of the ten toughest interscholastic conferences in the nation.
Continued, dedicated weight room and conditioning work will be necessary for the Cubs to be competitive in the Mission League gauntlet which awaits them in the fall.
