Cub Football - More information on May 23 barbeque and the Loyola Gridiron Vanguard
SUPPORT LOYOLA FOOTBALL - VANGUARD MEMBERSHIP AND MAY 23 BARBECUE INFORMATION
Below is an invitation from John Winnek '87, the Loyola Gridiron Vanguard's Vice President of Membership, and an iconic player in the annals of Cub Football::
All.
My name is John Winnek . I am excited to say I have an incoming freshman son who will play football for the Cubs. I am a Loyola alumus, and "a long time ago" I coached football at Loyola. Now I am involved with the Loyola Gridiron Vanguard, which is a group created to support Loyola High School and, specifically, Cub Football. We are all enthusiastically behind head coach Drew Casani's '91 commitment to bringing the program back to the championship level it enjoyed for most of its history.
The Vanguard is hosting a Spring BBQ on May 23rd at Loyola. The 23rd is the last day of Cub spring football practices. The barbecue will provide a great opportunity for Vanguard members and all supporters of Loyola's storied football program to reconnect with fellow Cubs, supporters of Cub Football and meet "New" and "Old" members of the coaching staff and enjoy the bonds that are so special among the Loyola Family.
On behalf of the Vanguard, we welcome you to the Loyola Family and invite you to our Spring BBQ. (FYI - Vanguard will be inviting all Football coaches, including the Freshman staff to attend this BBQ)
