Cub Football - Five more Cubs garner All-Angelus League recognition
Loyola places five more players on All-Angelus League teams
After placing 16 players on the the All-Angelus League first and second team all-conference teams, including the league's Most Valuable Player, Most Valuable Defensive Player and the Co-Most Valuable Lineman, Loyola had five more athletes earn Honorable Mention recognition.
The quartet included junior defensive lineman SHAWN LIN (6-4, 253), sophomore linebacker ZACHARY BOWLES (5-11, 208), freshman inside linebacker TYE SMITH (6-1, 231), freshman kicker MARK HYAN (6-4, 201), and sophomore punter XAVIER RICE (6-4, 195).
With those additions, the Cubs had an unprecedented 21 players earn All-Angelus League honors.
