I fear the recent heatwaves have denatured my brain, despite the best efforts of my ice-pack hat and me taping tinfoil to my windows, so I’m lacking the usual mental energy for nonsense at present.
At least I don’t actually turn into rock in the sunlight.
I hope you’re all faring rather better.
So, to whizz through Current Happenings:
The Tabletop Unconference went ahead! I enjoyed it, and will likely run it again. I haven’t finished the write-up yet, though, due to a combination of being Too Warm and Too Busy. I will get to it soon, though.
TERMINUS sadly missed out at the ENNIE Awards this year, but I have been participating in the ENNIES Emporium over on BackerKit, which is a project to promote last year’s nominees (which included Darkened Hill & Dale).
The Emporium projects primarily offer deals on already-existing stuff, but it’s also created the opportunity for me to collaborate with Alewood Games, creators of ARKYVR, 'a multimedia MOTHERSHIP 1E setting & toolkit to play documentary filmmakers in space'.
So – anyone who backs both of our campaigns (even at the lowest tiers) will receive a bonus reward – a digital copy of a new, system-neutral, collaborative scenario: Stage Fright!
Finally, the stage is set.
The homemade scenery has been installed, the endearingly amateur cast of Bimworne bus drivers are almost vibrating with nervous energy, and tickets have completely sold out.
It's time for the climax of your unlikely documentary production – the London premiere of 'Entity – the Stage Adaptation'!
There are inevitably a few last-minute issues – some of the props had to be substituted after Mr Jones used them as scratching posts while they were still in Bob's shed – but it's all good material, and the show is bound to be a scream.
Apropos of nothing, and as a complete aside, I heartily recommend the documentary 'Alien on Stage'.

And that’s it for now!
There will be other stuff to share with you soon, but now I need to go and bully what looks like a van’s worth of stuff into the boot of an estate. I’m off to EMF Camp in the morning, which should be fun!
If you’re attending yourself, swing by the Brighton Consulate to check out some ‘hot gulls’, a one-seater mini Lamborghini, and an autopsy of a chair.
It’s probably a good thing if none of that makes sense to you, but I shall try to explain next time nonetheless.
Until then!
Your pal, Sarah 💜
