Palestinian Voices in Games - Newsletter #2
Hi, and thank you again for signing up to the Palestinian Voices in Games initiative.
We are still looking for new volunteers and support to widen our network before announcing the Palestinian Voices in Games initiative publicly. Please feel free to share our website and pass the word along to anyone you think might be interested.
Let’s follow up with some great news: Dreams on a Pillow, Rasheed Abueideh’s game about the 1948 Nakba, has been funded successfully!
This means that if everything goes according to plan, by Q4 2026 we’ll be able to play this game inspired by a historical Palestinian folk tale that recounts two decades of untold Palestinian history.

However, I think we all know that game development isn’t easy, and can imagine how this specific game might be particularly difficult to make.Additional contributions will certainly help the game to materialize and there are still 4 days left to pitch in (the campaign ends on January 13th)!

If you haven’t already done so, please consider contributing to this daring project and sharing it on social media.
2024 sure wasn’t a great year, so let’s try to make 2025 a better one!
We wish you all the best.
