Rain in August
Hey all:
A lot has happened this month. This photo comes from a statue in the Westlake Village Inn, where my family had a weekend meal. We managed to get there before the storm, which missed our area fortunately.
If you live in Miami, you are used to rain. I realized that I missed it since the area has a desert climate. This was our first long rainfall in a while. Afterward, the petrichor and fresh air rose from the soil.
And writing? I do have some upcoming deadlines, so hoping to tackle them this week and get them out of the way. In addition, I started a new story, so fingers crossed i can finish it!
