I was looking for photos of my dad. He liked taking photographs before the age of digital camera, . This one came up, of him and my mom in the 80s. They were so young.
I'm older than my parents were in this photo. And life has brought so many changes.
Mom said in 2001, his cancer returned before his birthday, February 10. As a result, they didn't get to celebrate Valentine's. I thought about that, bought a rose pot for his birthday, and lit some candles. Miraculously, the roses are still alive.
