Hey you, you beautiful natural fiber lover, you! It’s been a minute, but the team at PNWFC wanted to drop in and say hello and share a few updates with you.
We’ve just attended our first fiber festival of the season (Shepherd’s Extravaganza!) and we might have seen you there! If you’d like to see which events we will be attending, you can check here. Come see Hannah and Kristen at Gathering of the Guilds in Portland, OR on April 27th!
The nitty gritty fun admin update: we’re sending in our nonprofit filings! It will take several weeks for these to be processed, but this crucial step will allow us to legally incorporate as a 501©6 membership organization, open a bank account, and begin updating our tools (like email and shared documents!) We are also beginning technical development on a very exciting component of PNWFC - the Resource Directory! Stay tuned for updates on that!
In the coming weeks, we will be doing info sessions (which are now regularly running, 1st Monday of the month, 7-8pm PST on zoom), meeting with several groups of supporters, and working on planning the rest of 2025.
