October Happenings!

We’ve got a party, a social, and two important election collaborations this month!

An Accessible Halloween Party: 10/24 at 6:00 p.m.
You are invited to our Halloween party next Saturday, the 24th! This gathering will be held at Assemble for folks 18 and older.
We will have spooky seasonal activities, games, and prizes. Costumes are welcome! The suggested donation is $10 or more via cash or PayPal (Note: “Halloween Party”).
Masks will be REQUIRED and provided for this event, and no food or drinks will be allowed. The building is ADA compliant. For any other access needs email us at [email protected].
We hope to see you there!

Two Election Events with Access Mob: 10/18, 11/2, 11/3
This Sunday, 10/18, from 12:30-4:00 p.m.: We will be joining our friends at Access Mob, along with Keystone Progress Education Fund, for a postcard writing event. Together, we will write to our disabled neighbors living in institutions, encouraging them to vote. Click HERE for more details and to register!
11/2 and 11/3: Access Mob will also be hosting a Ballots for Patients event. This non-partisan program allows registered voters to cast their ballots while hospitalized, utilizing Emergency Absentee Ballots. Volunteers will serve as Authorized Representatives to hospitalized voters on Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday, November 3rd. Click HERE to learn more and get involved!

A Black Disabled Social on 10/28, 6:00-8:00 p.m. EST
Socialize with Daeja in her monthly gathering for Black Disabled community members! This is an easygoing way to get to know your neighbors.
Registration is required; click HERE. Closed Captions will be provided. Please email us if you have other access needs: [email protected].
