Just a reminder that we’ll be holding our next meetup this Thursday at 6pm, upstairs at Yalm!

We’ll be hearing from J.D. Bothma of Open Sanctions, about their work making public but messy data easier to use to hold Bad Actors accountable (think ExonnMobil, not Tommy Wiseau), supporting journalism and research, and how commercial use has made this sustainable.

I’ll also chat about my own work designing AI powered chatbots for African teenagers, and we’ll have an open discussion on if and how AI is changing our work in Tech for Good.
