Connection & Perception
On Monday evenings I attend a somatic therapy group session with Lumos Transforms. I left my practice this week thinking of connection.
Over the past few days I’ve been musing on an Instagram reel that I saw about the fear of being perceived. I definitely have that fear and maybe that’s what held me back from writing about my writing until now.
I’ve been musing about starting a newsletter for a while. And, everything seems to have come to a head. So… tadaa!🥳

My most recent publication is a short story I wrote called Let’s Play. It’s been published in a book called Bi All Accounts, edited by Bailey Merlin & created with the Bi Plus Book Gang.
Let’s Play is a speculative fiction / horror piece that grips you, unsettles you and makes you feel seen. I’m the first piece in the anthology and very proud to be featured in such a thoughtful collection. It’s out 23rd September! Shelving, pre-orders and/or reviews really help!

I’m delighted to share this short comic I wrote with my supremely talented friend, Inam. She brought this snippet of my first ever FLINTA play party to life with her dynamic illustrations and bold colours. I’m in awe!

My Most Recent 5* Read

I loved this novella. It was fun and gross and thoughtful at the same time. This is my second P Djeli Clark and I love the representation of Blackness and the easy portrayal of the richness of our history.
Creative Spotlight

Finally, I’m featuring this work, called Boys With Tits. It’s a not safe for work anthology centring & eroticising trans masculinity & trans masc bodies. I’ve never seen anything like it and it was a delight to read. It’s got a limited run of sales, which finishes on 30th September 2025, so grab it while you can!
