Dweud Eich Dweud am Flaenoriaethau Lleoedd Lleol ar gyfer Natur Mae disgwyl i Lywodraeth Cymru yn fuan gyhoeddi manylion yr arian Lleoedd Lleol ar gyfer Natur i PNL am y ddwy flynedd ariannol i ddod, Ebrill 2025 i Fawrth 2027. Gwahoddir chi i helpu gosod ein blaenoriaethau a llunio ein cynllun gwaith a’n cyllideb am y ddwy flynedd i ddod. Gweler yn gysylltiedig am ragor o wybodaeth. Gŵyl Natur Ceredigion Mae Partneriaeth Natur Ceredigion yn bwriadu cynnal gŵyl yn Aberystwyth ddydd Sadwrn 5 Gorffennaf fel rhan o Wythnos Natur Cymru. Rydym yn chwilio am unigolion sy’n frwd dros natur, grwpiau a sefydliadau a hoffai gael stondin yn y digwyddiad. Gweler PDF: Veg and Herb Growing Guide a Pond Planting for Wildlife Guide. | Have Your Say on Local Places for Nature Priorities Welsh Government are expected soon to announce details of the Local Places for Nature funding to be allocated to LNPs for the coming two financial years, April 2025 to March 2027. You are invited to help set our priorities and shape our workplan and budget for the coming two years. Please see attachment for further information. Ceredigion Nature Festival The Ceredigion Local Nature Partnership intend to hold a festival in Aberystwyth on Saturday 5th July as part of Wales Nature Week. We are looking for nature enthusiastic individuals, groups and organisations who would like a stand at the event. Do you have something to show, a message to put out, an activity you would like to share or something to sell? Get in touch at biodiversity@ceredigion.gov.uk Local Places for Nature Grant – Funded Projects Bats in Woodland Project - Item 8 in this newsletter details this project. Adroddiad Rheoli Llifogydd yn Naturiol Mae adroddiad newydd wedi dangos bod disgwyl i bob £1 sy’n cael ei buddsoddi mewn rheoli llifogydd yn naturiol ddod â buddiannau o £10 dros 30 mlynedd. | FUNDING The Nature Market Accelerator is an industry-funded initiative launched by the UK government to enhance private investment in nature-based projects. Sustainable drainage concept design grant. Closing date: Monday 30th June. £10m Boost for Welsh Nature Projects Thirteen projects across Wales have secured more than £10m to protect nature across land and sea. If you are a landowner, land agent, or farmer contemplating habitat enhancement for the benefit of biodiversity or improvements to encourage wildlife you may be eligible for a grant.
A new report has shown that every £1 invested in natural flood management is expected to deliver £10 of benefits over 30 years. |

Flora and Butterflies of Cwm Soden County Butterfly Recorder Paul Taylor will take you down this steep-sided valley during the flight period of the Pearl-bordered Fritillary. Bydd prosiect y Deryn Du yn yr Ardd yn ein helpu i ddeall sut mae’r deryn du yn defnyddio gerddi, ac effeithiau posibl y feirws Usutu ar eu poblogaeth yn y DG. | SURVEYS This is a citizen science study that aims to test the potential of using data obtained from privately owned camera traps for monitoring hedgehogs and estimating their density. Observe and count bees, butterflies and bugs at the 270+ Tiny Forests across the UK. Saturday 17th May – Sunday 1st June. The Blackbirds in Gardens project will help us understand how Blackbirds use gardens, and the potential effects of the Usutu virus on their population in the UK. |
