Ceredigion Nature Festival
The Ceredigion Local Nature Partnership will be holding a festival in Aberystwyth on Saturday 11th July as part of Wales Nature Week.
We are looking for nature enthusiastic individuals, groups and organisations who would like a stand at the event. Do you have something to show, a message to put out, an activity you would like to share or something to sell? Get in touch at biodiversity@ceredigion.gov.uk
Your Wild Patch – March
Free wildlife recording sessions 10am-1pm with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre. A great way to discover the local wildlife. See attached.
Wednesday 4th March: Llanarth. Book this session here.
Saturday 21st March: Cors Caron Nature Reserve.
Wednesday 25th March: Aberystwyth Castle.

Peace and Nature: Building the UNESCO Network in Wales
Workshop with the theme of peace-building in the context of our relationship with nature. Wednesday 4th March 10am-4pm in Aberystwyth.
Penparcau Wildlife Group
Expert-led accessible bird walk on Friday 6th March 2pm spotting birds with the help of well-known local birder Naomi. Free, no need to book, just turn up.
Our Vital Ocean Lecture
Reflect on how restoring and protecting our ocean ecosystems would change the course of our climate story at Centre for Alternative Technology – Monday 9th March 7-8.30pm.
Exploring Underwater Scilly
Mesmerising footage and exciting results from a project using remote video to monitor marine life in the Isles of Scilly. Tuesday 10th March 1-2pm.
Camera Trap Footage
Learn to review, identify and classify footage, manage data, and share camera trap findings through MammalWeb. Thursday 19th March 12.20-2pm.
Eco Church Prayer Forum
Join on Thursday 19th March 12noon-1pm to connect with the wider Eco Church community and reflect, share, and pray together.
Herbal Foraging
Beginning with a herb walk, learn how to identify medicinal plants and make your own seasonal herbal remedies. Thursday 19th March 10am-2,30pm = £50.
Ceredigion and District Growers Association
This association has released a list of events for this year.
COURSES
Outdoor First Aid Course
This Ofqual regulated, 2 day (16 hour) outdoor first aid course meets all NGB requirements. Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th March.
Orchid Identification for Surveyors
Online course looking at the Orchid family with top tips on how to identify them, and where to find them. Wednesday 18th March 9am-12noon = From £45.

Facilitator Wanted
Lead a new enrichment hub in Ceredigion for home educated children, running two days per week to create a calm, nurturing space rooted in rhythm, creativity and connection.
Longwood Volunteer
Be a part of Longwood and help out every Tuesday, 10am - 2pm.
