The Great Global Nurdle Hunt
Take part in this annual citizen science event to search for plastic pellets and raise awareness of the issue. Friday 4th September–Sunday 4th October.
Earth Alliance – Cymru + Global South
Explore how knowledge, skills and practical solutions can strengthen land, livelihoods, food security and environmental resilience. Friday 11th September 6–8pm in Cardigan.
Beach Clean Up
Join a community beach clean-up in Aberystwyth as part of Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup Day. Equipment will be provided, with high-vis clothing required. Sunday 20th September 12pm at Gwin Y Môr.
Botanical Bundle Dyeing on Wool and Cotton
Learn how to create vibrant natural dyes using flowers and fibres, including selecting dye materials, mordanting and steaming dye bundles. Sunday 20th September 10am–3pm at Outbloom Flower Farm, Betws Bledrws – £85.
Seed Gathering Masterclass
Discover online how to identify, gather and grow tree seeds, including conkers, acorns, apples, pears and cones. Thursday 24th September 1–2pm.
