Marketing Minute: Lisa Kretzer

Today’s Marketing Minute is how we can best market NRG for our upcoming Visitors Day on April 29:

• Generate a list of potential visitors:

  • Look at list of Most Wanted list

  • Go through your stash of business cards

  • Consider family, friends, other groups you’re in, etc.

• Then give them something tangible:

  • NRG flier

  • NRG business cards

• Engage in some reverse marketing:

  • Example: Lisa received a cold email from a local service business. She replied saying she didn’t need his services at the moment but invited him to come to NRG’s upcoming Visitors Day - and he did!

• Keep eye out for LinkedIn and Facebook posts:

  • Best: Repost or share to your page with a comment

  • Better: Comment on NRG posts

  • Good (but lazy way out): Thumbs up or like NRG posts

Shantae showed a video of a person breaking into a business and talked about the process of monitoring: cameras and alarms to highlight prevention and apprehension.

The shop owners hadn’t set the alarm which could have prevented the robbery of their ATM machine. The robbers eventually left with the ATM but police were ready to apprehend when they took off; ATM machine fell out of truck as they sped away. In this instance, the cops stayed with property, the ATM machine.

“The Proof is in the Footage”. Shantae can go back to previous footage to see if the suspect had been in the shop to case it and, hopefully, identify and apprehend him.
