Marketing Minute: Rick Hall
Remember when thank you cards were as common as cup of copy? These days, thank you cards are long gone and have been replaced with digital communication. It just isn’t the same thing. Think of when you see a handwritten envelope with your name on it in the mail, you get excited to know it’s some kind of card for you when you’re tearing it open. And who doesn’t like to be shown appreciation for something they’ve done?
Remember: timing matters. Also, the sentiment is important and is more heartfelt. Rick say when he’s interviewing people to fill a position in his store, there’s always only one person who sends a thank you note and he always ends up hiring that person.
As business owners and professionals, we should take advantage of the opportunity to show meaningful appreciation to our customers; it’s a simple and easy, yet memorable gesture to make them feel valued.
And, don’t forget, Rick with Minuteman Press in Fairport can help print your cards for you!
Presenter: Kevin LoCicero

Kevin gave a great presentation on his consultative approach to mortgage lending with Lyons National Bank (LNB). He sets realistic expectations with his clients so they know they not only have a mortgage but also have equity.
He also listed out LNB’s unique lending opportunities that home and property buyers may not or cannot get from other lenders, such as grants, land loans, rehab loans and much more.
Most importantly, Kevin highlighted what distinguishes him from others: he helps people with solutions, his financial competitors are more challenging to work with, they also offer riskier lending, he’s fluent in Spanish so he’s always ready to help the latino community, and he doesn’t have the Fear Of Saying No (FOSN™ 😉).
