Marketing Minute: Lou Sabo
Lou’s message talked about making lemonade from spam.
He read a recent spam email that came to his inbox yesterday, who said they could help his social media presence.
It got him thinking about what he’s done for a group he’s in. He leveraged his logo/sponsorship appearing on the back of a cycling jersey by posting his cycling group photos to his social media accounts.
His point was to search for marketing opportunities with local groups who serve a greater purpose and then incorporate content into your social media.
Presenter: Dale Sparks

Dale brought his standard equipment and tools he uses with his furnace maintenance, repair and install services. He opened a furnace unit to show, along with the tools he uses, what’s working, what’s not and troubleshooting other potential issues.
Dale gave a great Furnace 101 overview. A great tip he learned from his uncle years ago: when your tools are organized, you know exactly where to grab what you need for speed and efficiency on a job. So he has a tool caddy readily available where every tool has its place; when he needs one, he knows exactly where it is and returns it to its place as soon as he’s done.
Dale’s adopted the saying: His job is to give information, the client’s job is to decide what to do with it. He tries not impose his judgements and opinions on someone else’s situation; they may not be able to afford a brand new installation, but he provides options so they can make the best decision for themselves.
