The importance of Online Business Reviews
Did you know online business reviews can help you:
Rank better in search engines to help you show up first, above your competitors
Boost trust, giving potential customers the reassurance that you have a reputation for quality.
Here are some tricks for HOW to generate those reviews:
Create a review strategy.
A steady stream of reviews is a must need, to help maintain that customer trust – set monthly quotas to help stay on track
Ask every customer for a review.
Your customers can be your biggest advocates! Ask them in person, via emails, or even a letter in the mail post interaction.
Use a review platform.
Review platforms are a great way to manage, track review progress and reply to all in one place.
Reply to all reviews.
And I mean all reviews—including negative ones. This shows that you pay attention to customer reviews and that you care about the customer experience. Thank the positive ones and offer to make things right with a negative one, hopefully turning it into a positive.
Take feedback to heart.
Customer feedback can help you find gaps or innovative product ideas that your customers will love. You’d normally have to pay a business consultant the same information, so why not get it for free!
Lisa also added to the list: leave something behind, such as printed materials and/or a branded promo product. She also emphasized the importance of asking for a review as well as replying to all reviews.
Presenter: Dale Sparks
Dale brought in his stack of red tool cases and talked about his approach and work setup when going into client’s homes. He also reinforced Sammi Jo’s Marketing Minute regarding reviews and read a recent review from Sara when he installed a new hybrid water heater.
Dale gave a preview of his new website highlighting the range of services he offers and available reviews on his site. He also passed around fliers and brochures of HVAC products he uses and talked about available financing.
