After the Bunny Brawl, around 3:00, we will hold the USFA Divisional Epee Qualifiers for Div 2, Div 3, and Y14, with separate events for men and women.

Please enter only if you are certain you will go if you qualify. Do not enter if you have already qualified through an ROC or other event.

We can qualify three from the New Mexico Division. If three or fewer register for an event, all will qualify and we will not fence it.

If you qualify for Div 2 and have a D or lower rating, you will automatically qualify for Div 3 and will not need to fence it.

Contact Jack Stafurik at 505-660-2440 or jstafurik@earthlink.net if you have any questions, or are interested in foil or saber.

Please check your gear for buzz boxes

We’re running low on our buzz boxes — please look in your bags or lockers and return them if you have any of the club buzz boxes.

Equipment recommendations from German Fencing Gear

Jens and Leticia of German Fencing Gear put together a guide with some recommendations for fencing gear — shown in that graphic above, download a PDF here.

You can also browse their site and choose your gear there. If you have any questions about sizing or anything else, or want other recommendations, send Jens an email.

Please ensure your USA Fencing membership is current

Please make sure that your membership at usafencing.org is current — the club’s insurance requires that every fencer is a USA Fencing member, all that’s required is an Access Membership to fence at the club and at club competitions.

To make sure NMFF’s emails arrive in your main inbox, drag the email from the “Promotions” tab to the “Primary” tab. You should get a prompt to “Do this for future messages …” and you should click “Yes.”
